San Cisco is an indie band formed in 2009. They have five Albums and three EP’s. Their most recent Under the Light was released on March 1, 2024. Lyrically and musically they are among my favorite Australian bands.

The Jungle Giants have released four albums. Their 2021 album Love Signs hit number one on the Australian charts. i have seen them multiple times and they bring a lot of energy to their performance.

Floodlights was one of my highlights of the 2023 South by Southwest Festival. I’ve followed them for a few years and their second album, Painting of My Time is excellent. Their 3rd album, Underneath, will be released 3/21/25.

Girl and Girl played a large number of shows at SXSW 2024. I saw them multiple times and really enjoyed their performances. Check out their most recent album Call a Doctor.

Holy Holy released their fifth album,Cellophane, in 2023. This album has some great collaborations with other Australian artists. Every album reached the top 20 in Australia. This band should have a much larger following here in the US. They are a must listen.

Jaguar is a very talented singer and multi-instrumentalist with three albums and three EP’s to her name. In 2020 and 2021, she won singer/songwriter awards from Queensland. Additionally, she is a fierce advocate against sexual abuse, particularly within the industry.

RVG - https://www.rvgband.com
RVG is a rock band with three albums. Their most recent album, Brain Worms, won the Australian Music Prize. They have received critical acclaim in Australia, Junkee an Australian site described them as “one of Australia’s best bands” and The Guardian described lead singer Romy Vager as “one of (Australia’s) most underrated songwriters”.
